• Scholarship money is in addition to normal class payouts.
• $10,000 in scholarships will be awarded for each show day (10% each day) and overall (70%)
• At least 50% of entrants showing all three days will receive a scholarship.
• Overall Scholarships will be awarded based on overall cumulative points over the three days
• Overall points are determined based on number of contestants (for example, in a ten rider class, winner gets 10 points; if bottom three riders tie they each get 2 points; if last rider is not tied then that rider receives 1 point).
• Points for all three days are combined to determine overall scholarships.
• All awards are held in trust by the NCHA in the name of the winners and distributed by the NCHA once the winners incur education expenses
